What we process, and why:

• Your email. We collect your email address to sign you in and to count your monthly free reviews. If you tick "Send me Sloppen news", we also use your email to send occasional updates. You can unsubscribe at any time from any email or by writing to sloppensoundato@gmail.com.
• Your audio. When you ask for a review, your browser sends the audio to our server, which passes it to Google's Gemini API to produce the review. We do not store it: it is held only in memory while the request runs and is discarded as soon as the review is generated.
• Measurements. Your browser measures the loudness, level changes and stereo of the file and sends only the resulting numbers with your request. The audio is not uploaded for this step.
• What you type. The song title, the artist name (if you give one), the genre and intent tags, the context note and the review language are stored with your review. The lyrics you paste are sent to the AI to produce the review, but we do not store them.
• The review. The text we generate, together with the measurements text and technical details of the request (usage counts and timing), is stored so you can reopen your review. It is kept until you ask us to delete it.
• Payments. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see your card number. We keep a record of purchases and credit use.
• Errors. If a request fails, the error message is stored with it.
• Cookies. Functional browser storage that keeps you signed in. We do not use analytics, tracking or advertising cookies, and the site loads no third-party scripts or fonts, unless you choose to play a video (see Videos).
• Videos. The site embeds videos from YouTube (Google). Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play. When you do, YouTube may receive your IP address and may set cookies, under its own policies.

Who receives data. Our hosting and database providers (Lovable and the database service it uses); Google, for the AI processing: under its terms for paid services, Google does not use content sent through the paid API to improve its products, and it logs prompts and responses for a limited time solely to detect abuse; Stripe, for payments. Our hosting provider also keeps standard request logs, such as IP addresses, which we do not control. We do not sell personal data.

Legal bases. Contract (delivering the review you ordered), legal obligation (invoices and tax records), legitimate interests (security and preventing abuse).

Retention. Audio: not kept. Reviews: until you ask for deletion. Payment records: as long as the law requires.

Your rights. You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and you can object to processing. You can ask us to delete your account and your data at any time by writing to sloppensoundato@gmail.com. You can complain to your data protection authority (in Italy: the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).

International transfers. Our providers may process data outside your country under their standard safeguards.

Age. The service is for people aged 18 or over.

Changes. We will update this notice when the service changes.
